About
Niamh Noade is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and harpist redefining the role of the harp within contemporary music. Blending classical with alternative folk, ambient pop and modern Celtic influence, Niamh places the harp at the centre of her artistic identity, not as ornamentation or tradition alone, but as a powerful contemporary lead voice within her songwriting and live performance.
Originally from Co. Armagh, Niamh has emerged as one of the most distinctive young artists currently developing across Ireland and the UK, combining emotionally resonant songwriting with a rare ability to make the harp feel both cinematic and current. Her music moves fluidly between intimacy and universality, pairing delicate harp and vocal arrangements with sharp emotional clarity.
At only 17, Niamh has already built significant public recognition through major television appearances and viral performances. In 2023, she reached the final of The Voice Kids UK after her rendition of ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All” generated more than 20 million online views, and more recently, she captivated audiences on Britain’s Got Talent, reaching the Semifinal. Her reinterpretation of “Ordinary”, and classic song 'Together in Electric Dreams' earned a standing ovation and praise from Simon Cowell, who admitted she had completely changed his perception of the instrument.
As her audience continues to grow internationally, Niamh Noade is positioning herself not simply as a singer-songwriter, but as part of a new generation of artists reshaping how traditional instrumentation can exist within contemporary music culture.

What just happened there was magical, the reason it was so special was because it was so elegant and classy. You had the audience in the palm of your hand, you didn't even have to try which makes it even more amazing"
